RSS Promotes the CHW Profession
RSS was the focus of a new effort to promote the Community Health Worker Apprenticeship program at the CHW Alliance. Working together, we created a video explaining the program and looking at RSS’ unique model of using CHWs in mobile dental clinics.
A CHW apprenticeship site since 2024, RSS will launch the design stage of a Licensed Dental Assistant Apprenticeship program in 2026. These apprenticeships offer people on the job, paid training and a path into the healthcare industry. The new apprenticeship program is supported by a grant from the Minnesota Department of Labor and Industry.
