Our History

Ready, Set, Smile started as a group of volunteers from ADT Dental working with “Give Kids a Smile” at Jefferson Elementary School (now Ella Baker Global Studies and Humanities Magnet).

From this work, Dr. Adele created ADT kids, which brought many groups together to support the work of connecting children with dental care at school.

In 2013, Adele formalized the organization and established Ready, Set, Smile as a 501c3.

Since then, RSS has grown exponentially, starting with one school and expanding to over 60 school partnerships in 2025.
